White Berries
There was a trail that leads to the light house on the Detroit River that only serious fishermen knew. My son and I followed this guy who had a bucket full of perches, sun fishes, and some other ones.
He told us to stay on the trail and reached the river at the end of the trail; that's where the big fishes were. We got to our destination, but my son didn't catch any fishes that day.
Growing Along the Trail

We saw many bushes like this with white berries growing along a side of the trail. We spend more time looking, and inspecting our surrounding for pictures than concentrating on fishing. My son found these white berries while I was looking at flowers.
As White as Can Be

The trail was quite a long walk for me, and we saw dead snakes as well as live ones. I got turned off completely when I saw snakes, so we left in a hurry.

I like those white berries with red stems. They kind of remind me of candy or marshmallows. :D
I wonder what the berries are? They are pretty. I had to smile when I thought of you and the snakes. I would be running out of there too!
Oh those are pretty, nice shots. The leaves look like Red Osier, it's a member of the dogwood family.
I guess I won't tell you or Judy any of my snake stories.

Snakes? Better take an alternative route, I love the white berries but the snakes yikes!

It's the first time I've seen white berries...how does it taste? hhhmmm....
I've never seen those white berries and I have to say that the snakes just creeped me out. Ugh!
OMG! Honestly, I have not seen white berries, and they are a beauty to behold!
Have to admit, I've never seen these either. They are obviously very rare plants. Beautiful though.
I have never seen white berries before. They are really nice and so are the pics.
