Find the Best Credit Card With This Website

My daughter recently asked me what is the Best Credit Card for her to obtain, and the reason to have one is that she wants to establish credit history. Though I had bad experiences with credit card companies, and I didn't want her to have one if we can just live without them.

However, since her dorm room this year is further out of the city, our cell phone service some times doesn't have signal. I have called T-mobile to see if I can drop her line so she can sign up with another stronger service in her area. They plainly told me that it would cost me $250 to terminate her line. I explained the reason until I was blue in the face, but nothing can be done about it.

One lame excuses after another from T-mobile, I accepted the fact that I'll have to hold on to her line until my contract is up, and told my daughter to look for another provider. It's hard for me not able to get in touch my child, and it's hard for her not able to get a hold of me, unless she is near the city.

She found a phone with Verizon; we went through the process of waiting, and verifying. I called in to get her application processed, was told that the phone was on its way. Two days later, Verizon emailed her, and told her that they would need $300 deposit since she had no Credit Card. This made no sense to me, and we definitely didn't want to lose $300 for no good reason.

I came across this website Compare Credit Card Offers, where she could see many major credit cards companies to see which one would work best for her. At least, she can start building her credit history for the future.

Sometimes, if she has a checking account, a bank issued card is the way to go. The terms might be better for someone getting their first card.

Icy, you have researched and this is wise. I would also look into plans where you can swap out your cell phone for another with another plan. I remember covering this in an article once just before Christmas a few years ago.

If you're looking for credit cards, then you're coming to the right place. The info here will help you in getting your first card. :-)

Judy aka SquirrelQueen, my daughter uses her bank card (debit/master card) as a form of payment..

But I think Verizon is counting on us being stupid enough to just signed over $300 for nothing! We now have two other providers, AT&T and Sprint to consider.

Thanks for the information. I don't have a credit card so I need to check out this site in case I decide to get one.
