Blooming Cactus Flowers
It seems there will be more snow coming our way, and the sky is so gray today. I go looking for things to take pictures, but nothing strikes my fancy, so I rely on my archive for photos.
This blooming cactus flower does the trick! The colors are vibrant and bring such a cheerful mood on a day like today.
When I see cactus flowers, my thoughts run to Diane AZ and betchai, my two blogging friends. They have such beautiful photos of cactus, and they know their cactus's names, unlike me! Maybe they can identify this cactus flower for us.

Hi Icy, Thank you for the link. I'm not sure what kind of cactus flowers they are, I'm guessing prickly pear but maybe Betchai knows better. Wish I could send you some of our sunshine. :)
Oh yeah you're right. This morning I ran to the garden 'cos someone told me that my cactus is starting to bloom. I'm gonna post a photo of it one of these days, and it looks exactly just like that girl!

I love the colors Icy. It has been gray here as well so bright colors looks very nice right now.
I like the yellow catcus color, it's rare.
Sometimes cacti can be thought of as unattractive plants, but these flowers go to show that they can be beautiful too.
