Dried Up Zinnias
As soon as the weather got cold, I turned my focus on naturally dried flowers around my home. A year or so ago, I wouldn't have noticing them that much, but through the eye of my camera, I see things totally different.
Everything is beautiful and holds its own uniqueness, such as these zinnias below.
Red Zinnia

This was one of my red zinnias that I grew from seeds from last summer. As it dried out, the colors changed and created these amazing mixes of colors. I knew it must be very beautiful if I use my macro, and I was right.
Orange Zinnia

The orange zinnia had its own unique colors as it dried out. Under a certain lighting, this dried flower looked absolutely amazing as its own bloom once before. This head was full of petals and it remained like this until completely dried out.
Deep Pink Zinnia

This zinnia was stunning in the morning sun, and its shape captivated me for a while. As it dried some petals folded upward, and some drooped down toward the ground. The deep pink colors disappeared and yielded for this almost purple shade.
No fresh flowers to take pictures? Try taking some photos of dried ones, and you'll soon be hooked to these subtle beauties.

Your colors and clarity are wonderful.
Awww they start to wither, but flowers are flowers, they wither gracefully.
AL
those blooms are withering gracefully!!
lovely even in that stage!!
Very nice, I really like the colors and shape of the last one.
Beautiful how the colors changed and the petals twisted as the zinnias got older.
Dried flowers are expensive too. The flower shop here sell them. Your dried zinnias are just as pretty as my dried and fallen waterlilies.
These are beautiful and the color is beautiful too.
Dried are just as beautiful as fresh. It's all in what you see.
