Very Unique Flowers
I found these photos in my old folder, and I couldn't wait to find out their name anymore! In the back of my mind, I thought I would save them, and then when I know their name, I would post them. However, it has been over a year, and I still don't know.
Since I don't know the name of these very unique flowers, I'll borrow some quotes to represent them.
So What Am I?

Do You Know My Name?

Enjoy your day!

You're only here for a short visit. Don't hurry, don't worry. And be sure to smell the flowers along the way.

Do You Know My Name?
People from a planet without flowers would think we must be mad with joy the whole time to have such things about us.

What an unusual flower, I don't think I've see that before. Whatever it is called it's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI don't know the name either. Wild guess - maybe some special kind of chrysanthemum. Your photos are wonderful, glad you went through your old folder and found them.
ReplyDeleteI like the first quote. We seem to be hurrying a lot always. A good reminder to have a break sometimes. Nice post. I also don't know the name of the flower lol
ReplyDeleteLovely flower, it is unusual.
ReplyDeleteIcy, this is a wild guess. Could they be Stokesia "Color Wheels"? The seed catalog states they open white then make rounds of lilac colors fading to deep lavender. It says "fading", I wouldn't, then it states one plant can have several different colored flowers at one time. They bloom from June to Sept. It had another similar flower called a Crystal Fountain with lavender blue and olive striped centers and a central cluster of bright yellow green, blooming May - Sept. I'd like to know, but more importantly thanks for sharing these gorgeous blooms!
ReplyDeleteI wish I did know the name. It's very unique indeed.
