School Art Show
Two years ago at my son's elementary school, they put on a show of the children's art work. The first time they did this was fantastic. They showcased the best pieces, or whatever the theme happened to be that year, and hung them on the walls around the building for parents to enjoy while waiting for conference.
These photos below are about two years old, and I found them on my ancient computer. I love children's art work, and I have them hung around my house.

In just two years, JoJo has grown so much! He looks so young in this picture, and I am glad to have found these pictures in my old computer, because school had decided that the art show took too much work, and they stopped doing this.
Have a great weekend!

These pictures are terrific! I love children's art too, it's so inspiring. Sorry to hear the school art show was phased out. :(
ReplyDeleteWhat a terrific little artist. This brings back memories of when I was in elementary school and we had an art show every year. What fun to take your parents and show off your work.
ReplyDeletea young artist in the making! jojo is so adorable!
ReplyDeletewow, Jojo has really admirable talent, look at the bubble blowing fish, very lovely. the dalmatian is uniquely crafted as well. and that yellow lion,i like his concept. you have such a wonderful gift through Jojo Icy.
ReplyDeleteHow sad. The children are worth the effort. We have art shows at the malls showcasing the children's artwork and it is very popular!
ReplyDeleteShowcase it here. We'll look. :-)
i looked at JoJo more than i did the pictures - he has an open, honest face, Icy! his pictures are thoughtful and detailed! you remind me to photograph my sons' artwork, too... enjoy your long weekend! big hugs to your little boy!
ReplyDeleteAwww... Joey is so precious and he's obviously a very talented lad as well. Keep him safe.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. It's too bad the school phased out the art show, there is some real talent on those walls. The first photo of JoJo showing those beautiful eyes is so good.

Wow, JoJo is a great talent. I love the spotted dalmation, he has an eye for art and he is a cutie too. It's too bad the art program stopped. Wasn't there any way for people to volunteer and keep it going? It's so sad.
ReplyDeleteHe is so adorable! And love all of his artwork. Awwww!!! Thanks so much for sharing. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is Joey, and I just want to say thank you to everyone!!!
ReplyDeleteJoJo's pics look pretty good. That's a shame that he won't be able to participate in the art show again. The kids are going to lose a place to showcase their talents.
