Second Set of Different Orchids Collection
This is the second collection of orchid pictures, and if you live in Metro Detroit, you can see them in real life at The Belle Isle Conservatory. You can see the first set here.
I am sure you are bored reading about Belle Isle Conservatory, but I really hope that more people will visit this very special place to keep it running. It will be such a great lost if they have to close it down.
Leopard-Like Orchids

These orchids remind me of leopard prints, and I apologize for the blurry in this picture! This plant of orchid was set way back and someone bumped into me while I took it. Unfortunately, this is also the only picture I had of this orchid.
Brown Orchids
This branch of orchids is hanging over the rock wall and just lightens up this whole area. I love the shape of the petals, and the beautiful dotted inside.
Yellow and Pink Orchids

This branch hangs along the side of the steps, and it is just breath taking to see. While many people walk pass it, I find it amazing and jam-packed with flowers.
Maroon Orchids

These maroon color orchids are just simple gorgeous. Though the color is a bit distorted by my camera, I think these maroon orchids are still especially beautiful.
Red Orchids

You can see most of these orchids are growing in little clay pots, but they bloom so wonderful! I thought that flowers need much more growing room, but I was wrong.
Pink and Purple Orchids

In April and early May, you can view so many different orchids, and different colors of these flowers. They are all unique and marvelous to feast the eyes.
Close Up of Pink and Purple Orchids

The orchids seen in Belle Isle Conservatory had dots on the inner petals on most of them, which made them very different special. I like the varieties of orchids they have here.
Out of This World Orchid

This unique orchid hangs down from the retaining wall, and the pouch is full of water. This incredible flower is one of the exotic orchids I've ever seen.
Yellow Orchids

I love these star shape orchids! The color is a crossed between yellow and green. Belle Isle Conservatory is really the best place to see if orchids are your favorite.
Light Pink Orchids

I couldn't make up my mind for which orchid is my favorite, but the one that wows me best is the Out of This World Orchid since it is truly one of the kind!

Wow! You are right, how can you decide which ones are the best? I can't make up my mind, and thanks to you, I don't have to. I can look at all of these.

So many beautiful orchids! The ones that are the most interesting to me are the leopard, maroon, yellow star, and of course "Out of This World." I am always fascinated by what you find at the conservatory. Thanks for sharing. :)
Love each and every one. Keep them coming.
These are very unique. While the pink and purple have always been a favorite of mine, I love the red ones. They look hot and spicy :)

These are all exotic orchids, and there are many more!
Daisy,
You too, rest..and get stronger!
I especially like the pink and purple orchids. I grow and care for my own orchids. I live in Florida hand they have many places here where you can go and see almost every type of orchid.
