Purple and Pink Coneflowers
It's a miracle that I know the name of this flower. That's because I have a white coneflower plant in my garden, and I've kept the tag to remind me. Otherwise, it would be just another flower.
I took pictures of these purple coneflowers at my sister's house. I'm especially attracted to all shades of purple, and I love all colors in general.
Young One

Who wouldn't love to look at this new form flower? It is growing slowly, gracefully, and beautifully on its own. Each petal develops its very special characteristic.
Growing Bigger

This flower is growing bigger, and stronger! The color is light purple, or lavender to be exact. Without macro, you would not be able to see all the details in this coneflower.
Filling Out

You can now see how beautiful this lavender coneflower is! The petals are filling out all around the center. This flower attracts lots of bees, not butterflies as I was told.
Top View

The center of this coneflower reminds me of the sharp end of pencils, especially from this view! It is very unique, and beautiful.
Near the End

Even when this flower is near its end, it's still very alluring. All the petals are drooping down toward the ground, leaving the center totally exposed.
Pink One

I took these pink coenflowers at a local nursery. It was absolutely gorgeous! This young flower had a deep purple color since it was in the shade.
Definitely Pink

When I walk into the nursery, I have no idea what I want to take pictures of. All the flowers are beautiful, and colorful, but this pink coneflower really holds my attention.
Unique Shape

This flower has grown out of shape, and is very strange looking. Some petals grow straight out on top, in the center. It is mutated or something...
Pretty Pink

I like this shade of pink on the petals with a touch of white on them. The petals are filled out, and at their peak of blooming.
One Round Bud

I am watching my white coneflowers growing at the moment. They are very quiet comparing to these colorful ones. Nevertheless, they are just as beautiful, and I will post them up soon.
