Improve Your Google Page Rank

My blog used to have a page rank of 2, and though at that time I had no idea how important Google page rank is to a website. I just love writing in my blog, and that was all I really care about. It never occurred to me that to survive on the internet, my blog must have a decent page rank.

However, after looking into paid ad reviews, I realized that my blog must have a page rank of two in order for me to get opportunities. Last week, my blog registered a page rank of 2, and then over night, it disappeared again!

I am constantly trying to improve my blog by reading many articles online to learn how to accomplish this task, and I come across this article "Google Page Rank Calculation Chart."

In this article, you will understand:
  • The important of backlinks
  • How Google ranks your page
  • What the page rank number means in Google's eyes
  • How you can accomplish this.
As I understand, the more people link to your site, the more Google will send people to it, and resulting in a higher page rank. Visit other sites, leave comments, and hopefully one of those sites will link back to yours.

I am including the page rank checker in this post so you can check out any site you want to know.

With a bit of elbow grease, it is possible to get a better page rank for your site!

Icy, Thanks so much for this info. What's strange is I've had my regular website for many years and this blog only for a few months yet they have the same pagerank. I guess I have to work on my website too. Fascinating and interesting article and very important.

thanks a lot Icy for this info, if not for you, I would have not known I have achieved a page rank already in short time. That makes me happy. would that mean to have backlinks, instead of signing using our blogger account (which do not link our blog but our blogger profile instead), it would be more helpful if we put our blog's url instead?

Another very useful article, Icy. I think the world of blogging is fascinating and it's great that you're publishing this helpful information.

Jo--I'm sorry for writing three posts today, but once I accepted the opportunities, I have to write about it before it's expired!

Betchai--I know what you mean, and I wish it would link to our site rather than our profile..

Diane--I love to share what I've learned, especially when it is easy for me to accomplish.

Thank you for the advice, BC. It was great of you to put the spot for other people to check their page with Google. Excellent post as usual. :)

Mily--You're too kind!
