White New England Asters

These photos are my collection of asters on the trail to the light house at Belle Isle. They seem to bloom earlier on the trail than at any other places, but they grow at the edge of the trail, with the benefit of having full sun all the time.

As I carefully examine the flower, some of them have rounder looking petals, and maroon color centers, while some have much thinner petals with yellow centers.

These are wild asters in the wild, and they look extra beautiful among the greenery look of the forest. They are elegant, pure, and breath-taking to see.

Being outdoor does magic in my tired soul! All the beauties in this world distracted my thoughts or whatever was in my mind for a while.

I am not a professional photographer so my pictures didn't turn out all that great! I am sure there are tips and tricks for me to learn to improve, but time is what I don't have, ever! Not just now, but ever!

  7. Stunning really -- I agree you can see the little details close up that you would not notice just from a glance. You see also the difference in each flower that they are unique to themselves, good photos really enjoyed these macros.
    Happy Outdoor Wednesday.

  15. Very pretty asters, they are such a happy flower. It looks like there are two very similar varieties in your photos.

If we were required to be professionals to show our photos there would be a lot less of us online. You have a great eye for beauty Icy, that's the most important part of photography.
