When Relationship Goes Bad

Almost three years ago, I wrote this article, Five Signs That Tell Your Relationship is Over based on how I felt, and experienced. I'm not one to gloat about how many views this article has received, or how much money it has earned me. However, I just know that this article is still circulating very strong, and I've received a number of requests through email for advices on when to throw in the towel.

However, I am not trained as an expert in relationship. I can only offer my own experiences as stepping stones for those that need a little road map.

Determine the stages of your relationship

Write down as many questions as you might have. The act of writing it out helps clarify your thinking, and gives you a concrete perspective.

  • Can this relationship be saved?
  • Do I want to save it?
  • What makes you happy?
  • How many times has it happened in the past?
  • How long did it takes before things slip back to the old mold?
  • Can you both find a way to work things out?
  • Are you both committed to a change for the better?
  • What holds you back?
  • What are your fears?
  • What do you really want?
  • How much longer can you take?
  • Why are you unhappy?
Take some times to look over your questions, and answer each one in great details. Keep a journal while you are going through this hard time. It is not only release your anxiety feelings, but it is also served as direction when you're looking back.

The "ah-ha" moment for each person is different, and so is the endurance level. Some can take it for the rest of their lives, but some must break away in order to rebuild their lives. No one can tell the other what to do or when to throw in the towel. Only you can tell when the time is right.

Explore your heart and your mind. Take some steps to save your relationship, go to couple counseling, or family counseling, because it takes hard work to mend a broken relationship.

Do you have an "ah-ha" moment to share? I would love to know..

A Touch of Color on Mini Mums

Snow has all melted, and the daffodils, tulips and irises are starting to push through the dirt. I finally got the old leaves picked up in part of our back yard where these flowers are growing just to make sure they will get enough sun.

This was a miniature chrysanthemum that I saw in the supermarket. The color was so subtle that it might be light pink or light lavender, depending on the light available.

I like how the color changes in different angle too. In the picture above, the mums looked a bit in the peachy color. This particular supermarket carried many different types of miniature flowers.

Do you know that I still believe I have black thumb even though I could grow zinnia from seeds? That is because I couldn't grow mums, gerbera daisy, and a few other flowers no matter how hard I tried.

Maybe it means I should just admire these flowers, but not growing them.

Enroll In Cord Blood Bank To Help Haiti

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Cryo-Cell International. All opinions are 100% mine.

For the last few years, we all have heard of cord blood or umbilical cord blood, but do you realize how important it is in saving life? This option was not available when I had my children or else I would have considered saving it for future events if the illness presents itself .

Cord blood is found in the umbilical cord, and the placenta which are rich in stem cells. It could be used to substitute for bone marrow to treat diseases, and boost the immune system from the complication of other treatment.

For many new parents, banking the cord blood could become one of the most important investments in your child's life. No one wants to think that far down the road, but if a child gets sick, he/she might get a second chance from his/her own umbilical cord blood. On top of that, it could even save a family member.

Look in to this information, and consider it seriously. If there is one way to take control of life's outcome in your hands, saving the umbilical cord blood is it! Furthermore, during this time when you are banking your infant cord blood, Cyro-Cell will also donate $25, from each enrollment to the "Save the Children: Haiti Relief Fund." We all know how devastating the earthquake did to this country, and they could use every bit of help.

So enroll now!

Mosaic Monday--Lavender Flowers in the Grass

During the summer months, along with our grass, these beautiful little lavender flowers were all over our backyard. Though I don't know the name, I found them fascinating and beautiful to take pictures.

Without my macro, I wouldn't be able to see all the little fuzzy spikes on this flower. This spread widely on one particular spot where the sun seemed to be constant shining. After the grass was mowed, they come right back up.

If there were no flowers in our yard, then we have these little ones to see every day. I like how the flower petals grow right out of its body, all the way around.

One the flowers fell off, they left these holes, which became great places for bees to feed on its nectar. I became very fond of these flowers. Any one knows what it is called?

Enjoy other entries at Mosaic Monday, and Macro Monday!
